“It has all been said before, Lumiere is a wonderful apartment on a very quiet and well equipped complex away from the hustle and bustle of Holetown but within easy reach of beach and shops (but you must have a car). Can’t recommend the hot tub on roof terrace enough - fabulously relaxing! Karen was very helpful and always at the end of the phone and thank you to Caroline who keeps the apartment spic and span. We will return when we next come to Barbados as we had such a wonderful time.”

“Everything about Lumiere is first class. Karen is incredibly helpful and organised our pick up at the airport, hire car and some shopping. The apartment has the feel of a 5 star hotel suite and was the ideal size for our family of four. The quiet pools and handy beach club with lovely staff made sure the kids had plenty to do, but we felt so relaxed every day. The gym and tennis courts are a great bonus, as is the fabulous hot tub on the roof. It was one of our favourite holidays and we’re hoping to go back next year!”

A stunning property, exquisite luxury throughout, set on a tropical landscape with a mesmerizing view of the Caribbean Sea. Ideally located in St. James, we were close to the beach, all amenities and enjoyed many a dining experience in the fantastic choice of restaurants. “We were thrilled to hear Lumiere was to have a refurbishment before our stay and when we arrived we were bowled over by your beautiful apartment. It far exceeded our expectations! I am a bit of a stickler for attention to detail in my own home and couldn’t fault the luxurious furnishings, accessories and finishing touches. Everything was stunning! It was wonderful to live in such luxury. We felt it was money well spent and we looked forward to returning their every night after a lazy day on the beach or the Catamaran tour.

The kitchen was very well equipped and to have the laundry facilities was a bonus. We enjoyed watching the 2 televisions and your choice of DVDs in the apartment is great - something for everyone. We used the two pools which were lovely and we had lots of sunbeds to choose from. The lift to the upper floor was great on our arrival and departure for moving the luggage and there was ample car parking very close by for our hire car. The maid was lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful.

We would highly recommend your stunning apartment for a couple or family who are looking for a luxurious Caribbean base to relax and have fun.”

“We’ve just returned after a terrific trip to Barbados in May 2014. Quite frankly I’m really picky and hard to please but I am delighted to say that Paradise Rentals and the Lumiere apartment were both terrific. It’s a great apartment that’s well equipped and beautifully furnished in a really quiet, convenient location. It also didn’t seem have any mosquitoes. I’m normally a magnet for them but due to the almost constant sea breezes the little creatures are almost entirely absent which was a godsend. The service was seamless and friendly. If you’re choosing Lumiere I hope you have as great a trip as we did.”

“We had a two week stay in Lumiere, a penthouse apartment with a private roof terrace. It was not our first choice and we were a little apprehensive but as Karen promised it was of an extremely high standard - lovely comfy bed and pillows, it seems only a little thing but makes all the difference. The grounds are well maintained and the pools never busy. Spago the on site restaurant is perfectly adequate for a drink and meal on evenings you don’t want to drive. We had a hire car for the two weeks and certainly wouldn’t stay there without one. The facility of being able to use the Fairmont Beach Club was great, never too busy and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Overall it was a super holiday and we very much hope to return next year.”

“Fabulous apartment in a lovely spot. Beautiful apartment, it felt like someones home rather than a rental property. Large rooms and very well laid out. Lovely balcony overlooking the gardens and swimming pool. A private roof terrace with a jacuzzi to play in. It is on the second (top floor) and at the end of the corridor, so very quiet. Inside it has everything you could possibly need, large fridge, flat screen tv and dozens of videos. It is great value for money and the owners are quick to help and respond to any enquiries. If you are thinking of a holiday on the west coast, book this one, you will not be disappointed. ”

“Charming and beautiful: We loved our stay at Lumiere. The apartment is beautifully decorated in white and cream and feels like a little boutique Martha Stewart home. Everything you need is there. The Sugar Hill community is lovely and friendly. Our stay came with Royal Pavillion beach passes (5 min away) which made our stay in Barbados perfect! Karen was the best person to communicate and plan our accommodation. We highly recommend Lumiere! ”

“What a wonderful surprise it was to cross the threshold of this stylish & luxury penthouse apartment.. It had everything you could possibly want & more. As a cricket fan, it was lovely to find plenty of cricketing adornments & a good selection of books. There was also a wonderful collection of DVDs, but here I digress from the principal features, superbly comfortable bed in an air conditioned bedroom (although temperatures so comfortable that one didn’t need air con - fans quite adequate), a comprehensively equipped kitchen, beautiful balcony & a roof top sun bathing deck with a large jacuzzi. Sugar Hill is a super location only 5 minutes by car from the beach, but high enough to enjoy a cooling breeze. The grounds & gardens are beautiful & there are 2 swimming pools (one of the smart “infinity” variety). We thoroughly recommend this to everyone & hope you have as enjoyable holiday as we did. ”

“Everything it says on the tin!! Fantastic apartment with all amenities, super comfortable bed, kitchen with everything in it and Sugar Hill is a safe gated place to stay. Club pool area is superb with a great restaurant. Would recommend a car, however for the first week we walked to the beach which took 10 mins and half an hour into Holetown. Management and Maid service is very good with everyone very willing. Highly recommended. ”
